about Anna mcgee

I’m Anna. I’m 63. And I did not start out strong.

I was a hairdresser who smoked, ate poorly, and gained 35 pounds after leaving the gym world. I was tired, uncomfortable in my body, and honestly embarrassed to walk back into a place where I used to feel fit and capable.

So I did not go back to the big gym. I went to a small women’s gym instead.

The first Sunday “super class” I took made me throw up on the way home and spend the rest of the day in bed. But instead of telling myself “never again,” I said, well Anna, THIS is what you did to your body. And guess what. You are getting your ass back there next Sunday.

That decision changed my life.

Over time, I quit smoking. I started lifting. I learned how to eat in a way that supported my body instead of fighting it. Later, bodybuilding taught me something women were never told back then:

IF YOU FEED YOUR BODY ENOUGH AND STRENGTH TRAIN, YOU CAN LOSE FAT, KEEP MUSCLE, AND FEEL POWERFUL, EVEN AS YOU AGE.

I was not starving. I was eating 2300 to 2500 calories a day. I lost fat slowly. I kept my muscle.

My body changed even when the scale did not.

Today, after two pregnancies, menopause, two hip replacements, and decades of real life, I am still here, still lifting, because muscle and nourishment protected me.

I help women 45+ build back the muscle they have lost, reduce body fat, protect their metabolism, and feel strong for LIFE.

You do not have to shrink as you age.

You can become stronger. And I am here to show you how. Stay Ready.

Love ya,

Anna
